InfoMedico, is a concise but highly informative television program that delivers the message of good health and disease prevention to a wide audience all over the Philippines via the satellite television network of Radio Philippines Network whose flagship station is RPN-9 in Metro Manila.

The advocacy program, supported by charitable institutions, made its debut on June 20, 2005 and aired within the noontime news program Arangkada Balita. It was an instant success. The show is hosted by noted cardiologist Esperanza I. Cabral, presently cabinet Secretary to the Philippine government’s Department of Social Welfare and Development.


Delivering timely, accurate and substantial information is one of the keys to InfoMedico’s immediate success. Each 3 to 4 minute episode tackles a specific topic that will include definitions, origins, descriptions, procedures and advice.

At present, there are now more than 180 distinct and unique episodes / topics in stock available for airing and distribution.   

Infomedico was conceived by media man and former Press Undersecretary Ramy S. Diez and Dr. Cabral, as a useful vehicle for delivering practical medical and health information to the masses through easy to understand terms and effective visual representations.

The program which is produced by OrientPhil Production Corporation, has been airing since March 2006 Mondays through Fridays within the early evening news program Newswatch Aksyon Balita on RPN-9.
